Veteran’s Day is Sunday, November 11th.* From coast to coast, Americans are honoring these valiant veterans. With floats and parades, programs and concerts, patriots all over the USA are paying a debt of gratitude. And the city of Grand Prairie is no exception. Grand Prairie has a special ceremony planned to honor the men and women who have sacrificed so much to protect our country and freedoms. The event will begin at 2p.m., Sunday, November 11 at the Veterans Memorial in Grand Prairie (925 Conover Dr.) There will be a flyover, bagpipes, a 21-gun salute and lunch following the ceremony.
